General Meeting: See Something, Do Something w/ Author and Activist Blair Imani

We are extremely excited to bring back our favorite activist and now author Blair Imani. According to FBI data released this past Monday, even more hate crimes were carried out in the US last year, with an uptick in incidents motivated by bias against Jews, Muslims and LGBT people, among others. We will be going through safe and practical steps to respond to hate crimes. Food will be served in Kimmel 907!

More about Blair: Blair Imani is a black Muslim activist living in Brooklyn, NY. She is the founder and Executive Director of Equality for HER, a nonprofit educational platform for feminine identifying individuals.

Today, Blair Imani is a writer and organizer specializing in youth engagement. She currently serves as the Civic Action & Campaign Lead at DoSomething.org, the largest tech company exclusively for young people and social change.
